Shipping policy

At Sampan Shipping, we are committed to transparency and reliable delivery for both our retail customers and wholesale partners.

1. Order Processing & Handling (Handling Time)

  • Handling Time: All orders are processed within 2–3 business days (Monday – Friday).

  • Order Cut-off Time: 5:00 PM (GMT-08:00) Pacific Standard Time (Los Angeles).

  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing the next business day. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.

2. Shipping Transit Times & Rates

We ship from our facilities in the United States. Total delivery time is the sum of handling time and transit time.

Domestic Shipping (USA):

  • Economy Shipping: 5–7 business days.

  • Expedited Shipping: 1–3 business days.

  • Shipping Rates: Calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.

  • Free Shipping: We offer Free Economy Shipping on all domestic orders of $35.00 and above.

International Shipping:

  • We ship globally. Delivery times vary by destination and vessel schedules.

  • International Terms: Orders are shipped on a CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) basis.

  • Duties & Taxes: Sampan Shipping (Ham Choi Imports LLC) does not collect or pay these fees in advance. Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by the destination country.

3. Order Tracking

  • USA Orders: Track your shipment via the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email or via the Shop app.

  • International Orders: You will receive a shipping advice notice and tracking number via email once the order departs.

4. Shipping Delays & Issues

While we strive for timely delivery, delays may occur due to weather, carrier issues, or customs.

  • Lost/Damaged Packages: Please notify us at hello@sampan.biz within 24 hours of delivery if an item is damaged or lost so we can assist with a carrier claim.

  • Address Changes: Please contact us immediately if you need to correct a shipping address. Once an order is processed, changes cannot be guaranteed.
